Rival shoe companies Puma and Adidas were founded by brothers who hated each other. Apparently, the sibling rivalry started when Rudolph and Adi Dassler argued over who got to use the family's bomb shelter while the allies were bombing Germany during WWII air raids.
Today I also learned where the brand "Adidas" got it's name.
